Aamir Khan is known to do
things hatke. His dreams are no different. Of course, when Mr Perfectionist has
an ambition, it will undoubtedly be big.
You may recall that
SpotboyE.com had broken the news of Aamir Khan’s biggest and most ambitious
project, Mahabharta, estimated to be made on a budget of Rs 1000 crore in
multiple parts over a span of 10 years.

And with the latest
update, looks like a step has been taken forward to convert Aamir’s vision into
reality as the superstar has reportedly got a funder on board.
According to a report in
Mid-day, Mukesh Ambani has agreed to co-produce the magnum opus. Now, whether
India’s top industrialist will back the project through a new company
full-fledged or will be involved through his existing entertainment wings- Jio,
Viacom 18- is yet to be confirmed.
But if he does facilitate
Aamir’s vision on the celluloid, it will be the amalgamation of Bollywood’s
biggest star with India’s biggest businessman to offer Indian film industry’s
biggest film. Can’t get bigger than this, isn’t it?
Aamir Khan has been toying
with the idea for a long time, and has been vocal about how it’s his
unfulfilled dream to make Mahabharta. It’s just last year that the project
gained momentum and Aamir’s attention. In fact, he pulled out of Sidharth Roy
Kapur’s venture- astronaut Rakesh Sharma’s biopic- after signing the film,
something which a professional actor like him has never done.

SpotboyE.com also told
you, how Aamir tried to help the makers by requesting Shah Rukh Khan to step
into his shoes, who graciously agreed. However, this had not gone down well
with astronaut Rakesh Sharma as he was keen on Aamir playing the role.
All said and done, these
altercations just show the extent to which Aamir is pursuing this project. And
if Mukesh Ambani funds his dream, it will be extremely interesting to see the
scale on which the makers will unfold the project.
